Microsoft Allows Digital Payments in ‘Kaizala’ App
Microsoft Corporation enables digital payment services on its
social network enterprise application ‘Kaizala’ in India. The primary goal is
to help the first-line workforce to become more productive.
With this, users now
have the option to make peer-to-peer payments in one-to-one or group chat
conversations thru YES Bank’s Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and MobiKwik
wallet. Payment integration with Microsoft Kaizala will enable users to send or
receive money without leaving the app.
UPI’s payment options on Kaizala work with all 86 banks that are already participating
in it.
Kaizala provides
assistance designed for large group communications and work management. The
application makes it easy to connect a user’s work with its work chain. Also, the
application can track, assign, and collect data with individuals or large
groups, included or not, in the organization.
Microsoft Office
product group’s corporate vice-president Rajesh Jha said, “When we launched Microsoft
Kaizala in India in July 2017, we provided consumers as well as businesses with
a secure chat platform to collaborate and be productive on the go. Payment
transactions within the app was a key demand from our users for getting work
done and we are happy to offer it today in collaboration with YES Bank and
MobiKwik.”
An Emerging Help for India
“We see an opportunity
for technology by giving first-line workers more intuitive, immersive, and
empowering experiences, thereby, helping organizations achieve greater
efficiency, and enhancing their customers’ experience,” the vice-president added.
Furthermore, he added
that Office 365, including Microsoft Kaizala, Microsoft
Teams, and Outlook, aims to connect this mobile-first and mobile-only
workforce for modern collaboration and teamwork.
Microsoft Kaizala is
being used by over 900 organizations in the country, including State Bank of India, Apollo Telemedicine, United Phosphorous Ltd., and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
In addition, more than
30 departments with 70,000 workers at the Andhra Pradesh government level use
Kaizala for real-time governance and day-to-day work.
The chief digital
officer of YES Bank said, “We are glad to collaborate with Microsoft Kaizala
and bring seamless payments to business and users by employing our
state-of-the-art UPI platform.”
Existing Office 365
subscribers can avail 12 months of free ‘Kaizala Pro’ subscription for their
users through an early adopter program.
Kaizala is a free mobile
app available for Android, iOS, and Windows platforms.
